An independent city of more than 12,000 residents, Falls Church is located 6 miles from the nation’s capital between Fairfax and Arlington Counties.  Highly regarded schools, convenient access to DC and small town charm continue to keep Falls Church high on the list of many home buyers.Although the metro rail does not run through Falls Church, the innovative GEORGE bus system shuttles residents to East Falls Church metro station, West Falls Church metro station and around the city of Falls Church.  These clean diesel GEORGE buses are part of a pilot program designed to reduce emissions and pollutants.

The schools in Falls Church City have received not only local, but also national notoriety.  Falls Church city residents are also eligible to send students to the exclusive Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Vienna has been repeatedly rated one of the best public school systems in the country. Home to great shopping and restaurants, Wolf Trap for the Performing Arts and the venerable Fairfax Hospital, Vienna has much to offer.  Vienna is known for its numerous corporate office buildings with easy access to highways, schools, and many kid friendly options. Tysons Corner, also known as Tysons, is a bustling suburb of Washington, most known for its Tysons Corner Center, the largest shopping mall in Maryland and the largest in the DC/Baltimore area.  Tysons is within easy commute to downtown Washington or Maryland by car or Metro.  It lies directly across the Potomac River from Montgomery County, Maryland, thereby allowing ready access to and from Maryland.  The corporate headquarters of many national firms including Freddie Mac, Booz Allen Hamilton, Hilton and USA Today employ local residents and boost the economy of the area.
