Welcome to Northern Virgina!  Northern Virginia (NoVA) is the largest sub-region within the Washington, DC Metropolitan region. Its population numbers nearly 2 million and has increased by approximately 25 percent over the past decade. With a geography that ranges from world-class technology centers to historic cities and towns, from urban corridors to rural countryside, Northern Virginia offers unparalleled options for home and business locations. Northern Virginia is the highest-income region of Virginia, having seven of the twenty highest-income counties in the nation.

NoVA is a large geographic area and Jews live throughout its eight local jurisdictions; Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, and Manassas. The NoVA community comprises one-third of the region’s overall Jewish population of more than a quarter million people.

Northern Virginia is comprised of 24 congregations, 10 Jewish preschools, a Jewish community center, a Jewish day school, a variety Jewish social services, and a host of political,social and educational organizations.
