Finding Support During Challenging Times

COVID-19 has upended our daily routines and traditional support structures. The pandemic has created many challenges for Greater Washington and introduced or worsened a variety of needs. No individual or organization has been immune from its effects. In these unprecedented times, The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington is teaming up with more than 100 Jewish agencies and synagogues to curate and share resources to meet a variety of critical needs.

Financial Assistance 

  • Hebrew Free Loan Society: Offers emergency loans
  • Adel Fund provides support for short-term basic needs such as mortgage and rent payments, and medical support. Please call: 240-621-0770 or visit them online.
  • Rabbi Emergency Fund offers funding for rabbis to support members of the community who are in need during times of crisis. Please contact your local congregation.
