The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area Inc.

The Closet is a nonprofit thrift shop in the heart of historic downtown Herndon. The Closet sells a wide variety of donated items, including clothes and shoes; housewares such as dishes, kitchenware and linens; electronics; sporting goods; books, videos, CDs and record albums; artwork and frames; toys; and knickknacks.

The Closet donates clothing and necessities to needy persons referred by an authorized social service agency or one of their 19 member congregations. They have also donated money to groups such as the Herndon Free Clinic and FISH and scholarships to students at five area high schools.
