A thriving Reform Jewish congregation nestled in the suburbs of Washington, DC, Temple Rodef Shalom is the largest Jewish congregation in Virginia, serving over 1650 households from Arlington, McLean, Falls Church, Vienna and other nearby Northern Virginia areas.

Temple Rodef Shalom offers spiritual, educational and social programs to engage and
serve members of every age. From simchas, such as baby namings and weddings,
to times of need, the clergy are always available to share in happiness or provide strength and support.

The Nursery School is a community school that introduces Jewish and non-Jewish children to school life. The program promotes the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each child in a nurturing environment.

A dynamic religious school lays the foundation for a love of Jewish learning. Students experience Hebrew, Jewish history, traditions, heritage and culture in an age-appropriate,
creative atmosphere from kindergarten through high school.

Temple Rodef Shalom fulfills the mitzvah of Jewish learning by providing numerous opportunities for adult study and discussion groups. Hebrew classes, Jewish culture and philosophy, and other learning opportunities offer members various ways to enrich spiritual and intellectual growth.

The congregation has a Sisterhood, Men’s Club, groups for seniors, young families, singles and interfaith families and activities for those with similar interests, such as Social Action and Israel groups, or Koleinu, the adult choir.

Temple Rodef Shalom has four different youth groups for children in grades 2-12, as
well as three different choirs for children in grades K-12. In the summer, Camp Rodef Shalom helps youth to build a positive Jewish identity.
