This office specializes in hunting Nazi war criminals. Part of Justice Department, Criminal Division. Detects and investigates individuals who took part in Nazi-sponsored acts of persecution abroad before and during World War II and subsequently entered, or seek to enter, US illegally and/or fraudulently. Takes appropriate legal action seeking their exclusion, denaturalization and/or deportation.
