Byte Back

Give new or used computer equipment to classrooms, staff, or graduates Byte Back gratefully accepts computers, flatscreen monitors, computer speakers, printers, and printer cartridges manufactured within the last five years. They currently do not accept Macintosh computers.

Wish List
• Computers: 2007 model or newer and in working order
• Flat screen monitors (preferred) or CRT monitors
• Printers: new (preferred) or used and in working order
• PowerPoint projectors: new (preferred) or used and in working order
• Thumb drives/flash drives (any size or color)
• Printer ink
• Printer paper, white or colored
• Snack items for our students such as granola bars
• Silent auction items such as Redskins tickets, dinner for two at a restaurant, frequent flyer miles, or a vacation stay
• Byte Back, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides computer literacy and employment readiness skills to underserved communities throughout Washington D.C. In addition to providing free and low-cost computer courses for neighborhoods in D.C., Byte Back also teaches advanced certification courses, enabling students to enter the workforce with competitive and useful skills.
Byte Back offers scholarships to low-income students for all PC for Beginners and MS Office Track classes. In addition, all low-income graduates of their MS Office Track class (who attend one of our qualifying library locations) will receive a free refurbished computer.
