Led by Rabbi Gilah Langer and noted food expert Susan Barocas, our combined JSC-Adas Israel Congregation Tu B’Shvat Seder will feature the traditional Jewish Kabbalistic journey through Four Worlds and tasting of different sources of nuts and fruits, culminating in the opening of the heart and spirit.

And, as the climate crisis looms ever larger, we will explore a hopeful program developed by a Silver Spring, Maryland -based organization, Trees For The Future.  Their approach to creating Forest Gardens is a tested method for the massive planting of trees and regeneration of African farmland ravaged by drought and monocropping.

A  delicious light dinner will be served.

Cost: JSC, Adas Members, $20, others:$25
