                               REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR SPRING SEMESTER

Do you have a child in grades 8-12 and are looking for an inclusive, pluralistic, Judaic Studies program which focuses on core Jewish knowledge? Enhance your teen’s engagement with Judaism and deepen their knowledge of core Jewish text and practices by enrolling them in Shoresh Hebrew High School’s weekly program.

Both parents and students (Grades 8-12) are invited to join our classes at Shoresh Hebrew High School on Sunday, December 8 and Sunday, January 5 from 5:30- 8:30 PM at the Bender JCC of Greater Washington, 6125 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852. Join a class and see what the excitement is all about!

Shoresh Hebrew High School is a unique Jewish studies program for 8th-12th grade students attending secular schools in the Greater Washington area. Shoresh meets Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30 throughout the school year. Shoresh builds a strong foundation for students to become critical thinkers about Jewish heritage, to find a sense of shared community and destiny among all Jews, and to meet the challenges of American Jewish life.

Shoresh’s unique curriculum consists of three 1-hour classes covering Tanach, Siddur, Rabbinics and History, with classes divided by grade and subjects tailored to grade level. Our outstanding faculty are local educators and clergy who engage our students with in-depth discussion of the texts and subject matter.
