Pregnancy Group

Join Rabbi Fischel for conversations about the wonders, awe, frustrations, and ridiculousness of pregnancy. Our discussions will be framed in a Jewish light, and our focus will be on building a community of soon-to-be moms who can depend on each other for years to come.

Half of our sessions are over Zoom–who wants to leave their house unnecessarily while pregnant?

The second half of our time together will be spent over shared meals. The first will solely be for participants in the group. The second will be with a guest of your choosing over Shabbat. We will also celebrate a mikvah (ritual bath) ceremony together for nearing the end of pregnancy. Never been to mikvah before? Don’t worry! It is beautiful and meaningful and not as weird as it sounds. Looking forward to creating this sacred community with you!

• May 28^th—Zoom Session, 6:30-7:30PM
• June 4^th—In-person Session, 7-8:30PM at Temple
• June 11^th—Mikvah Experience at Adas Israel (time TBD)
• June 21^st—Shabbat Services & Dinner 6-10 PM at Temple

This program costs $18 for WHC members; $36 for non-members.
