Congregation Etz Hayim is hosting a potluck Shabbat after abbreviated Fri night Shabbat services, followed by a special evening of study. This evening of study is called a Tikkun: an enhancement, an upgrade in our spiritual software, to become better partners with God in creating a better world. Amazing speakers, teachers, musicians and food!

6:15pm – Abbreviated Shabbat services.

7:00pm – Potluck Shabbat dinner.

8:00pm onwards – Tikkun Leil Shavuot

Session 1. Revelation Then & Now: An Interfaith Conversation about God –OR– What if the Torah was Written by ____?: Exploring Potential Outcomes of a Torah Written by Different Identifies & Demographics (SPECIAL for 6th-12th graders).

Session 2. God in the Knesset: Navigating Religion and Secularism in Israeli Politics. With Shy Ashkenazi.

Session 3. Atlas of the Soul: A Brene Brown and Kabbalah Inspired Exploration around Building Meaningful Connections. With Miriam Roochvarg.

Session 4. Is Music Divine? Jewish Literature and Pop Music Come Together. With Bel Glezer and Rav Natan Freller.
