Jewish & Christian Interpretations of Prophecies

Christian theologies often cite the Hebrew Bible in order to validate their theological or ritualistic interpretations. Most of these citations are from the prophetic books. Naturally, Jewish interpretation and understanding of the words of the prophets are very different from the Christian understanding of the same words. In most cases, both interpretations are valid based on the theology underlying that interpretation.
