In this chaotic world of 24-hour news cycles and sunrise to sunset scheduling, how do we take even a moment for ourselves?

When the calendar has no space, how do we create sacred space?

Through textual and experiential learning, this class provides the time, space and tools to address many of life’s “How To’s”: How to say yes/no and how to mean it; How to give; How to forgive; How to eat; How to love; And, yes even, how to die. Come explore the ways in which Judaism can inform a whole life.

Some of the questions we will explore in this new Adult Education course include:

  • How to give?
  • How to eat?
  • How to love?
  • How to die?
  • How to forgive?

This course starts on Monday, October 21 and runs for 8 weeks.

Each session starts at 7:00 pm and includes dinner.

One session will also meet following our Macomb St. Shabbat service on Friday, November 1.

Cost (for 8-week session): $115 for WHC Members; $135 for non-members.
