Join us for our first Limmud series of “Gvanim Hiburim”; a platform to create a joint dialogue between the Israeli-American and Jewish American communities. The series will include four Limmud sessions, 90 minutes each.

In each session, the participants, together with local leaders and a professional facilitator, will examine Israel’s various roles in shaping Jewish identities of diaspora Jewish lives in the past, and our contemporary
life in the United States.
In addition, we will deepen the covenant and relationships between the Israeli and Jewish
communities in the D.C. area.
The sessions will focus on ancient and modern Jewish and Hebrew texts while examining how the texts that have shaped our cultural DNA can serve as a platform for discussion around contemporary questions.
