Join Machar as we mark Yom Kippur together during evening/Kol Nidre services. We have an evening service in addition to daytime Yom Kippur services, and provide childcare during both evening and morning services this year.
This year’s High Holidays theme is “Disquiet.” It’s a feeling that many people connected to the Jewish community feel more intensely as the High Holidays approach with their focus on reflection, reconnection, and renewal. And as politics here and in the State of Israel have gotten more unstable, disquiet has become part of our everyday lives in new ways. Join Machar this year for the holidays as we come together as a community to face the challenges of disquiet and seek ways to deal with the feeling of being unmoored by uncertainty.
Cost: $10 and up, depending on which attendance and childcare needs.
