Ventura County Jewish Family Service

JFS is guided by our Mission Statement: To encourage and support the quality and continuity of individual, family and community life guided by the ethical and spiritual values of Judaism. We are continually working to develop new services and resources to assist our community.

The majority of our services are non-denominational but we also have services specifically for the Jewish population in Ventura County. At the High Holidays, Passover and Hannukah, JFS partners with the Jewish Federation of Ventura County to provide holiday luncheons for Seniors. JFS has a Senior Case Manager who works with Jewish Seniors. JFS provides counseling, groups and workshops for the Jewish population. JFS also serves as the social services arm of the Jewish community, assessing for and dispersing emergency funds as well as serving as a resource for the Rabbis in Ventura County.
