Temple B’nai Israel

Temple B’nai Israel serves the Jewish community of Maryland’s Mid-Eastern Shore counties. The temple has developed into a welcoming congregation of over 200 members led by our full-time rabbi, Rabbi Peter E. Hyman. Services include Friday evening Shabbat, Saturday morning Torah, the High Holy Days, and other holidays throughout the year. The congregation has a strong commitment to interfaith families and is active in community-wide interfaith events. Temple B’nai Israel also provides religious schooling for its young people along with preparation for Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
