The Posen Foundation works internationally to advance Jewish education and promote Jewish culture in the public sphere. They award fellowships, host public events, and support Jewish scholarship in the area of modern Jewish history and culture. The Posen Foundation will soon launch its international fellowship for junior scholars and emerging fiction writers. Members of the Posen Society of Fellows will receive a two-year, $40,000 award, as well as the opportunity to participate in a workshop with their peers led by seasoned scholars and writers. A major project of the Posen Foundation is The Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization. A unique collaboration between Yale University Press and the Posen Foundation, the ten-volume series will collect more than 3,000 years of Jewish cultural artifacts, texts, and paintings, selected by more than 120 internationally recognized scholars.
