Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs

JINSA was founded with a dual purpose – to educate the American Jewish community about the vital importance of a strong U.S. defense posture for the security of Israel and for our safety here at home; and to educate the American defense community about the key role Israel can and does play in defense of U.S. national interests. JINSA reports go out periodically by email. They publish ” The Journal of International Security Affairs” twice yearly as well as a number of other publications based on JINSA-sponsored conferences and issues related to the JINSA mandate. JINSA’s annual programs include sponsoring a trip for retired United States Flag and General Officers to Israel and a study program in Israel for cadets and midshipmen from the Naval Academy, the Military Academy at West Point, and the Air Force Academy. JINSA also arranges interchanges between Pentagon officials and Jewish community leadership and sponsors lectures and conferences at the national military academies and leading national security think tanks. JINSA is a national organization based in Washington D.C. They publish an online monthly newsletter, JINSA Reports, with timely one-page briefings that cover a wide array of national security issues.
