ewish Family Service of Tidewater (JFS) is a non-profit organization providing a full spectrum of social and health services to meet the needs of Hampton Roads residents. Established in 1946, JFS has had a long-standing tradition of caring and concern for the community it serves. Counseling, adoption, home health care, care navigation, and food and financial assistance are just some of the services provided by highly trained staff and caring volunteers. Jewish Family Service is supported by an active Board of Directors and professionals in the community. JFS is a trusted resource for thousands of individuals each year and lives up to our promise to all community members – You never know when you’ll need help, but you’ll always know where to find it.
