Ellis Island Records Web Site

Jewish Genealogical Source – on-line database of passenger lists of immigrant arrivals to Ellis Island between 1892 and 1924. The list consists of 22 million records, thanks to a collaboration between the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation (which runs the Ellis Island Immigration Museum) and the US Parks Service and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons).

Beginning in 1904 immigrants were asked the country and town of birth, as well as their final destination in the U.S. including the names of the people that they planned to meet there.
