The vision of DFI is to be a preeminent professional development and training institute for Jewish communal professionals in order to enhance their quality of services to the Baltimore Jewish community, as well as regionally and nationally.

DFI’s mission is to provide professional development and career training opportunities to the full spectrum of Jewish communal professionals, both current and prospective. DFI enables individuals, who strive to be successful in a wide range of disciplines and settings, to expand and integrate their professional and Judaic competencies.
