Conservative Consortium for Conversion

Adas Israel, along with Ohr Kodesh Congregation and Tifereth Israel Congregation, sponsors a course of an in-depth study of Judaism leading to conversion. The Conversion program includes lectures, discussions, beginning Hebrew classes, learning prayer services, and Friday night dinners and is designed for but not limited to individuals interested in conversion. Students must have a sponsoring rabbi in order to enroll for the purposes of conversion.

Rabbis from all the participating congregations teach and sponsor candidates. This intensive program is designed for serious students, and includes lectures, discussions, beginning Hebrew classes, and experiential components. The class may also be taken for educational purposes. Advance registration required.
