Concern for Helping Animals in Israel (CHAI), www.chai-online.org, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in the U.S. in 1984 to help animals in Israel. CHAI works together with its sister charity in Israel, Hakol Chai, to bring about a better world for Israel’s animals. CHAI sent the first animal ambulance and the first mobile spay/neuter clinic to Israel, sponsored groundbreaking educational conferences, together with government ministries, on topics including animal shelter management and the link between violence toward animals and toward people, and created humane education materials for schools. CHAI has also rescued, rehabilitated, and found homes for animals, served as a lifeline to animals in times of emergency and war, and campaigns to protect horses and donkeys from abuse. Please visit our website to learn more about our more than two decades of work on behalf of Israel’s animals. Donations to CHAI are tax-deductible.
