Since 1974, Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service (AJFCS), a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, has strengthened and enriched the lives of men, women and children of all ages. We do this through a continuum of focused programs addressing the well-being of children and families of all ages, the independence and well being of older adults, and the optimal quality of lifee for individuals with special needs.

At AJFCS, we are home to over 100 skilled professionals, working as one team, in one place, as one family.

This model of care has been the heart of AJFCS for over 35 years. Our multi-faceted, comprehensive approach to caring for individuals and families has made us who we are. It also makes us the reason why so many choose AJFCS as the place to enhance their well-being and help them thrive.

AJFCS offers a confidential Intake, Assessment, Information & Referral Program (I&R), operating from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 4 p.m. on Fridays. You will speak with a master’s level professional who has in-depth knowledge of child, adult and senior issues. You will be able to get information and assistance with issues such as counseling needs, psychiatric support, caregiver supports, senior services and reliable information about other health and human services in our community for those in need.
