Access Israel

Access Israel, is a non-profit organization dedicated to making Israel an accessible place for all. The concept of “accessibility for all” means that every disabled person should participate in society as an equal, dignified, and independent Israeli citizen; in practice, “accessibility for all” means that every location is available for every person to freely move in , as well as use and experience the location.

The website includes information on activities related to people with disabilities, accessibility information on thousands of locations in Israel, accessible tourism, legal rights and much more

The organization approaches businesses and persuades them to improve accessibility and in return the business receives the “Access Israel Badge of Honor” and publicity. There is accessibility to new buildings, Festivals, library, ATM, beaches, Memorial Sites, elections, legislation and activity in government departments, first Cinema Accessible to the Hard of Hearing, help at Gas Stations, talking elevators.
