The mission of A Wider Circle is simple: to help individuals and families lift themselves out of poverty. At the heart of A Wider Circle’s work is the realization that breaking the cycles of poverty requires more than just the provision of basic need items; it also requires a restoration of dignity and self-worth. Items they are seeking include: beds (mattresses, box springs, frames); dressers; kitchen tables and sets of chairs; sofas and living room chairs; end tables, coffee tables, nightstands; lamps with shades; kitchen items including pots and pans, sets of dishes; blankets, sheets and towels; healthy non-perishable food; desks; changing tables, strollers, high chairs, pack ‘n plays, car seats; baby clothing to size 4T; small kitchen appliances including microwaves and toaster ovens; vacuum cleaners.
