Gan Teva at Ner Shalom is Prince William County’s first nature-based Jewish preschool. Opening in September 2021, Gan Teva is searching for an enthusiastic early childhood educator who understands, and is excited about, building an early childhood learning center from foundation to fruition.

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Understands that children must move, play and think to learn.
  • Is able to articulate and demonstrate activities to grow an in-sync child.
  • Regards themselves as a nurturing, patient educator.
  • Enjoys collaborating and building projects from the bottom up.
  • Openly shares ideas and/or innovative approaches with their colleagues.
  • Sees the beauty of nature and is prepared to be outside regardless of weather conditions.
  • Is familiar with Judaism and/or is willing to learn about Judaism.

Preference will be given to candidates with a college degree and experience working as a teacher. Our preschool will be open to children ages 3-5 of all backgrounds and will build curriculum upon core Jewish values, traditions and beliefs.
