Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebration and Farewell to Abraham
Join us for a meaningful and festive Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebration as we come together as a community to honor Israel’s Independence Day! This intergenerational event will offer a variety of engaging experiences, ensuring that everyone—regardless of age, background, or personal connection to Israel—can celebrate in a way that resonates with them.
Enjoy live Israeli music, dance with Markid Mike, explore an interactive gallery showcasing the deep historical and contemporary connections between American Jews and Israel, and participate in hands-on Israeli-inspired art activities. Families with young children can join a Hebrew music party. Thought-provoking discussions and a gallery will provide space to reflect on the evolving relationship between American Jews and Israel, especially in the wake of recent events.
We will also take time to honor the memory of those we have lost, offering a space for reflection and remembrance. The event will culminate in a special ceremony featuring a farewell to our shaliach, Abraham, as we express our gratitude for the experiences and connections he has fostered within our community over the past three years.
This is more than just a celebration—it’s an opportunity to come together, strengthen our bonds, and reaffirm our shared commitment to Israel. We look forward to celebrating with you!
