The Israel Committee, in collaboration with the Brotherhood, is honored to host Jacob Magid, the U.S. Bureau Chief for The Times of Israel, at Beth El on January 27 at 6 PM. Mr. Magid will provide an in-depth analysis of current developments in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank, and will offer his perspectives on the evolving policies of the Trump administration concerning Israel and the broader Middle East.
A Chicago native, Mr. Magid earned a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Studies and Political Science from the University of Maryland. His journalism career includes serving as The Times of Israel’s settlements correspondent from 2017 to 2020, during which he reported extensively on West Bank settlements, Israeli politics, and legal affairs. He covers U.S. developments related to Israel, the Middle East, and the Jewish world.
Mr. Magid’s reporting is featured in The Times of Israel, where he covers a wide range of topics, including international politics, conflicts, and human interest stories. His recent articles have addressed issues such as U.S. weapons shipments to Israel and the Biden administration’s policies in the Middle East.
