Join us online https://kolothalev.org/cantata-ebraica-register/ for a delightful musical tour of Italy through the lens of Jewish melodies, led by Hazzan Dr. Ramón Tasat, Artistic Director of Kolot HaLev. His research has unearthed many of these rarely heard musical treasures which originated in Jewish communities (Florence, Livorno, Rome and Venice) or were composed by musicians such as Gioachino Rossini, Federico Consolo, Michelle Bolaffi, and Benedetto Marcello. In addition to liturgical music, examples from opera and popular song will be on the itinerary. Some musical examples will be excerpted from past Kolot HaLev performances. CANTATA EBRAICA REGISTER
