Listen. Learn. Create. A Series on Race and Relationships

Date: Monday, January 25, 2021
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Online OnlyOnline Only

We hope you will join us for part two of our racial justice series with a distinguished panel of Black Jews and Jews of Color—Kwon Crumble Benowitz, Joseph Levin-Manning, and Deitra Reiser—who will discuss their experiences with Jewish life in Greater Washington. This important conversation will be moderated by Yolanda Savage-Narva, Director for Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the Union for Reform Judaism.

Together, we will continue building our collective comprehension of the role race plays in our community, reflect on how well-intentioned actions do not always lead to desired outcomes, and discuss how our community can help ensure that Jewish spaces foster belonging and inclusion.

We hope that this event will encourage us all to challenge perceived norms about the Jewish experience.
