The American Conference of Cantors presents a historic concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of Cantor Barbara Ostfeld, the first female ordained cantor. This extraordinary musical event will feature multiple choirs, spanning generations of cantorial talent, performing a diverse repertoire from Renaissance compositions to contemporary pieces.
The concert promises a powerful exploration of Jewish musical heritage, showcasing works that highlight the journey of women in cantorial leadership. Audiences will experience an inclusive performance featuring 200 cantors and musicians, presenting a unique musical narrative that spans different eras, geographical regions, and musical styles.
Tickets are $18.00 ($20.57 with service fee) for Seniors and Students; $36.00 ($39.65 with service fee) for General Admission. All tickets include a dessert reception after the concert. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
