Hana Berger Moran: A Story of a Survivor

Date: Sunday, April 18, 2021
Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

In commemoration of Yom HaShoah, Tifereth Israel Congregation is pleased to have Hana Berger Moran, a concentration camp baby, join us (on Sunday, April 18th at 10:30 am). Hana will tell the story of how her mother, Priska, survived the Holocaust:

This intriguing tale relays how her mother gave birth to Hana in Freiberg/Sachsen – a concentration/slave labor camp – and continues to follow their lives after liberation from Mauthausen. Hana meets with the other two miracle babies who were born in Mauthausen, and these newly connected adults return to Mauthausen where they meet their liberators.

This compelling story is also told in the book, “Born Survivors,” which is a testament to the courage and love between mother and daughter.
