Dr. Joy Ladin Gives the Annual Pride Month Lecture at Ohr Kodesh

The Ohr Kodesh Congregation LGBTQ Inclusion Task Force is proud to announce Joy Ladin, Ph.D., author of The Soul of the Stranger: Reading God and Torah from a Transgender Perspective and Through the Door of Life: A Jewish Journey between Genders  will deliver the annual OKC Pride Month lecture on Sunday, June 6 at 7:15 PM via ZOOM.

Dr. Ladin is a teacher, essayist, poet, and literary scholar. She holds the Gottesman Chair in English at Stern College for Women at Yeshiva University. She is a nationally recognized speaker on transgender issues and on gender and Jewish identity. Dr. Ladin has been featured on the NPR program On Being with Krista Tippet and gave a TedX talk entited Ain’t I a Woman?
