A Time to Sing – A Concert Honoring Cantor Rochelle Helzner and feat. Joey Weisenberg

Tickets are on sale now for Tikvat Israel Congregation’s May 18 cantor’s concert, A Time to Sing, featuring Joey Weisenberg and the Rising Song Ensemble! During the performance, Cantor Rochelle Helzner will be honored for her 41 years of dedication to Tikvat Israel.

See Weisenberg onstage May 18, 2025, 7:00 p.m. at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center on the Montgomery College Rockville Campus (51 Mannakee Street, Rockville, MD 20850). Weisenberg, founder of Hadar’s Rising Song Institute, is known for his original niggunim, wordless melodies, drawn from ancient traditions and the American soundscape. His masterclasses and singing circles regularly sell out. At the May 18 A Time to Sing concert, Weisenberg will be joined onstage by Rabbi Yosef Goldman, Shawn Hennessey, Dan Blacksberg and Yoni Avi Battat .
