Food insecurity across our community remains a critical issue, especially in the wake of COVID-19. On Good Deeds Week, April 11 – 18, 2021, Federation brought together 60+ community partners to meet this growing need. Thousands of community members from across DC, MD, and Northern VA collected canned food, made snack bags, prepared sandwiches, raised funds through a fun run, or pruned a community garden, and more to help those who are experiencing food insecurity in Greater Washington.
Thank you to our 60+ partners across DC, MD and Northern VA, and to all who took the time to DO GOOD together!
