MASA (Hebrew for “Journey) is a partnership between the Israeli government and the Jewish Agency which seeks to strengthen the next generation of Jewish People. MASA enables young Jews (18 to 30) from around the world to build a lasting relationship with Israel, strengthen their Jewish identity, and gain meaningful and beneficial experiences by participating in a long-term program in Israel. MASA provides young Jewish adults with connections to programs, grants and scholarships towards program fees, as well as support, activities, workshops and resources while in Israel. Every participant in a MASA approved program is eligible to receive a MASA Grant. The amount is predetermined and depends entirely on the participant’s age and country of origin.
MASA also has a needs based scholarship.
