USY (Grades 9-12):
United Synagogue Youth (USY) offers Jewish teens the opportunity to develop lasting friendships with peers in a “Jewishly” social environment. It offers a myriad of leadership, traveling, and identity-building programs from the synagogue to international levels. USY Membership allows one to participate in all regional events and activities, including conventions, formals, dances, and the USY basketball league.
USY Advisor: Debra Abramowitz
USY Chapter Presidents: David Loewy and Jillian Meliker
Current Membership: 60 teens

Upcoming USY Activities and Events: See our website!

Kadima (Grades 6-8): Kadima offers Middle School students similar social and leadership opportunities as USY. Members meet once or twice a month for activities, plus they have an opportunity to meet other teens at events held with other synagogue chapters in the Seaboard Region. Involvement in this group helps pave each teen’s way for a strong sense of commitment.
