Temple Rodef Shalom - Director of Youth Engagement
A member of the Temple’s senior leadership team, the Director of Youth Engagement (DYE) is responsible for building and fostering Jewish community and Jewish identity among Temple Rodef Shalom youth (elementary school through college students). The DYE works to further the Temple-wide youth engagement vision and support the Temple’s strategic goals, as well as the overall values of Reform Judaism and the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). The DYE manages, organizes and oversees all Temple Youth Group programs and some additional youth programming, serves as a member of the leadership team for Camp Rodef Shalom (the Temple's six-week summer day camp), and joins with other senior Temple leaders to address the congregation's needs as they arise.

As Virginia's largest Jewish congregation, our vitality stems from our responsiveness to the many individuals, families, and generations who compose our congregation. We are led by a nationally known, dynamic clergy team who work closely with staff and lay leadership to create and sustain a sacred community. At Temple Rodef Shalom, spiritual, educational, and social programs both engage and serve members of every age. Our community is a celebration and exploration of Reform Jewish life, rooted in tradition and relevant for all time.
