Congregation Sha'are Shalom - Hebrew Teacher for Religious School
Congregation Sha’are Shalom in Leesburg, VA has an opening on our Religious School staff for a 6th grade Hebrew teacher for the 2019-20 school year. We are a welcoming, friendly, egalitarian synagogue and school that places an emphasis on creating community in the classroom. Candidates must be comfortable with the Conservative siddur prayer liturgy; ability to speak Hebrew is a plus but not a requirement. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, motivated and excited to share their love of Judaism with their students. Good communication skills and ability to get along with both children and adults is a must. Teaching experience is preferred, but we will provide training for the right candidates. Work hours are Sunday mornings from 8:45-11:15 and Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-6:45.

Please submit your resume to Michele Zuckerman, Director of Education and Youth Activities, at
