Israel Quest is a Jewish teen identity project of the United Jewish Endowment Fund, The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and local congregations and regional youth organizations. Alexander Muss High School in Israel (Summer Program)
The Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) provides a 6 week pluralistic, academic adventure in Israel during the summer. Follow in the footsteps of more than 20,000 alumni and discover Israel through an inspiring, life-changing experience. The whole country will become your classroom. You will be challenged to live outside of books and in the presence of history by studying at the actual sites where history took place!
American Jewish Society for Service
With AJSS, you’ll spend your summer volunteering for organizations that provide essential social services while living in and exploring a part of the U.S. that’s completely foreign to you. During the week, you’ll get your hands dirty – hammering, painting, shoveling, distributing food – whatever we can do to help people in need. On the weekends, you’ll either travel to nearby cities or enjoy a weekend at “home” to explore your local surroundings. Big Idea – International Tech Summer Camp
BIG IDEA is an international summer camp in Israel focusing on technology, Israeli innovations and leadership. A community of kids and teens ages 7-18, from Israel and over 30 different countries meet every summer in a beautiful location on Mount Carmel. Over a 2 week session, campers have a hands-on experience in digital arts, web designing, computer programming, fashion design, game productions, robotics, app development and many more, while also exploring Israeli innovation. Mix it up with fun outdoor activities, swimming pool and wave surfing, martial arts and stage arts tracks!
Bnei Akiva offers a range of summer programs, including Israel travel opportunities, travel camps that visit cities and national parks across the United States and Canada, and Yachad, an inclusion program at Camp Moshava.

NFTY summer programs give you the opportunity to see the world, while meeting and connecting with Jewish peers from across North America. Experience Israel from top to bottom, seeing Jewish history, modern life, and natural wonders. You can also choose to add a week in Europe to your Israel experience. NFTY offers a diverse, meaningful summer experience for teens who are looking to have fun and connect with the Jewish people.
Ramah Outdoor Adventure is one of the only Kosher/ Shomer Shabbat Jewish outdoor adventure camps in the United States. Campers split their time between living at our rustic base camp at 8,000 feet as part of a larger camp community and on adventure trips in the surrounding national forest on multi-day excursions. Activities at camp include rock climbing, biking, wilderness survival, orienteering, horseback riding, wilderness arts and crafts, whitewater rafting, and field sports.
URJ Mitzvah Corps
URJ Mitzvah Corps provides teens with the opportunity explore Israel, North America, or Central America, while participating in meaningful service projects. You will have the opportunity to volunteer wherever you go, making a direct impact on countless people. Choose between Israel, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, the Pacific Northwest, and other exciting locations where you’ll make a difference while making amazing memories with your new friends.
USY summer programs give you the chance to choose your own adventure. Options include Eastern Europe, Israel adventures, meaningful and transformative explorations of Poland, social action trips, and North American road trips that give you the chance to see the East Coast and Pacific Northwest. Each program provides a unique experience, giving you the chance to grow and change while having the time of your life!
Yiddish Book Center
The Great Jewish Books Summer Program invites rising high school juniors and seniors for an exciting week of intensive literary discussion. Students will read, argue about, and fall in love with enduring works of modern Jewish literature, and consider how the ideas they encounter affect the opportunities and challenges they face today. Participants study with respected literary scholars, meet prominent contemporary authors, and connect with other teens from across the country.
Young Judaea offers summer trips to Israel that allow you to see Israel up-close and personal. From social entrepreneurship and volunteer opportunities to chances to see the natural and man-made beauty of Israel, you’ll develop a personal connection to the country and people, as well as to your peers.
