Current Opportunities:

Jewish Foundation for Group Homes – Friendly Visitors and Special Friends

Spend some quality  time with JFGH residents in our group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Homes are in Gaithersburg, Potomac, Rockville, Silver Spring, MD, Annandale and Reston VA. Have a Birthday/Unbirthday party, play games, do arts and crafts, sing or play instruments, bake cookies or cook your favorite meal, go for a walk. This can be a wonderful and meaningful time for individuals, groups and families. Participants of all ages are welcome. Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Some residents have no living or local family to connect with, so if you are available on an ongoing basis JFGH is also looking for volunteers who can commit to spending some time and forging relationships with those residents, ideally getting together once a month or more for socializing, outings or just quiet companionship.    For more information: Call 1-888-246-1818 email  or click here.
