The #JewsForRefugees Assembly will bring together the greater Washington DC Jewish community -- convened by HIAS, the world’s oldest, and only Jewish, refugee organization -- to raise up a powerful Jewish voice in support of the safety and dignity of refugees around the world.

This Assembly will feature elected officials, policy experts, community leaders, and refugees who will speak about the urgency of responding to this current refugee crisis, and the Jewish obligation to not turn our backs from the most vulnerable among and around us. This is a moment to sound a rallying cry to the leadership of our own country to continue welcoming those seeking refuge. Join us and be a part of a powerful Jewish voice in support of today’s refugees.
